Apple released iPhone unique (RED)
Apple Inc. announced the release of unique smartphones and iPhone 8 iPhone 8 Plus in red. The new model will be timed to coincide with a charity event (RED), in which part of the proceeds from sales of phones will be sent to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS.

Elton John AIDS Foundation and PEPFAR Announce Inaugural LGBT Fund Recipients
The Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF) and the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) are today announcing the first two recipients of The LGBT Fund. The inaugural recipients are the International HIV/AIDS Alliance (The Alliance) and the Global Forum on MSM & HIV (MSMGF). These partners will administer small grants and provide key technical expertise addressing stigma and discrimination through innovative and community-led approaches in sub-Saharan Africa and the Caribbean.

Keep the Promise’ Artists, Advocates, Medical Providers and Patients March to Demand More Funding to End AIDS
In the first of its kind in South Africa, AIDS Healthcare Foundation led activists, health professionals, patients and artists, including Hip Hop star and actress Queen Latifah, on a march through Durban central business district and rallied for an increase in funding for HIV/AIDS treatment. The march was followed by a concert at Sahara Stadium Kingsmead.
France has contributed more than &euro;3.8 billion to the Global Fund since it was established in 2002 to accelerate the end of the epidemics.

France Pledges €1.08 billion to Global Fund
The Government of France announced today it will contribute €1.08 billion to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria for the three-year period beginning in 2017, demonstrating strong leadership in global health.
